Applying for Permits online
You may apply online for over dimensional, overweight, Trucking Productivity Program route agreement, productivity permit, fuel tax and temporary registration permits using the new Manitoba Online Permitting System, MB MOOVES (Moving Oversize and Overweight Vehicles Efficiently and Safely).
To use MB MOOVES, you will need to apply for a free account. To do so:
- Register online via: https://mb.gotpermits.com
- Contact the Permit Services office at 204-945-3961 or toll free 1-877-812-0009.
- You will receive an e-mail with instructions to set up your own password
- Once you login to MB MOOVES, you can apply for permits at any time.
- If your permit application cannot be system issued, a Permit Agent is notified that your application has been submitted. The agent will review the application, verify that the information is correct, and issue the permit or contact you for more information.
- “MB MOOVES allows some permits to be issued immediately. If your permit application qualifies, you will be able to pay online with a credit card. Once the payment is approved, the permit will be immediately issued to you.”
- Once your application is approved, you will receive your permit via e-mail.
