Agreement to Change Support Obligations
A support payor and support recipient can change the support obligations in their order for enforcement purposes by completing an agreement to change support obligations for either spousal or child support. The Agreement to Change Support Obligations form allows MEP to administer the support as outlined in the new agreement.
- The agreement is only for support obligations currently included in the court order.
- The changes in support obligations are for future payments only and cannot be back dated.
- The agreement cannot include any instructions for suspension of enforcement actions or changes to arrears.
- The agreement must be fully completed and signed by both parties and enforceable by MEP. The parties will be notified in writing if the agreement is not suitable for enforcement.
The following agreement forms are available below:

Terminating a support agreement
The agreement to change support obligations can be ended in writing by either party or by completing a Termination of Agreement to Change Support Obligations form. MEP will adjust the file once the termination is received and will begin enforcing the support obligations set out in the prior support order or agreement. The parties will be notified in writing of any changes to the file.
