Payment Arrangement

If you owe arrears and cannot pay them in full, you can arrange to pay the arrears over time by paying an amount in addition to your regular ongoing payments. To establish a payment arrangement, please complete and return a Financial Statement, with a copy of your most recent paystubs or benefit payments (for example: WCB, disability benefit). You can provide the required information by mail, fax or email:

Repayment amounts are based on the financial information you provide. Once received, MEP will review your information and notify you of the payment arrangement details. Please note that any payment arrangement includes continued payment of your ongoing support plus an amount payable to reduce your arrears. A federal support deduction notice may be issued to collect GST and income tax refunds in addition to the payment arrangement terms.

Late Payment Penalties will not be charged against the arrears balance as long as the support payor makes the payments as required under the terms of the arrangement.
