Right-of-Way Management

Manitoba Infrastructure oversees management of provincial highway rights-of-way, in part, through:

• the permitting process and controls established under The Traffic and Transportation Modernization Act
• on-going dialogue and collaborative design efforts with others wishing to undertake business on/affecting highway rights-of-way (e.g. contractors, engineering firms, utilities, developers, other levels of government, the public, etc.)
• establishing and implementing technical standards guiding highway engineering designs, geometry and environmental protection
