Immunization (Vaccination)
The COVID-19 vaccine helps protect Manitobans. Learn more here.
Immunization has saved more lives in Canada in the last 50 years than any other medical intervention. Vaccines help the body’s immune system to recognize and fight bacteria and viruses that cause disease. Immunization is one of the safest and most effective health interventions of modern times and is your best defence against vaccine-preventable diseases. Manitoba Health provides publicly-funded vaccines to Manitoba residents who are registered with Manitoba Health, as per Manitoba’s routine immunization schedule and vaccine eligibility criteria.
