STEP 4. Credential Assessment
Following your application review, if it appears that you may qualify for ECE classification, the Early Learning and Child Care Program will refer you to a credential assessment service. The International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS) is preferred. If you already have a credential assessment from another Canadian agency, the Early Learning and Child Care Program will ask you to submit this.

Notes | The Early Learning and Child Care Program will accept credential assessments from Canadian agencies only. IQAS is the preferred credential assessment agency. ELCC will provide you with information on other acceptable agencies. All agencies require a fee for service.
