Definitions
1 In this Act, "common-law partner" means a person who, not being married to the other person, cohabits with him or her in a conjugal relationship. |

Disqualification of board members
3(13) No member of the board shall hear or participate in the making of a decision by the board in any matter in which the member (a) is related by blood or marriage to any of the parties to the matter before the board; or (b) has a pecuniary interest; or (c) has, within a period of 6 months immediately preceding the date on which the matter was submitted to the board, acted as solicitor, counsel or agent for any of the parities to the latter before the board. |
