Intake Information
- The intake for this program is currently open; funding requests will be accepted from April 15, 2024, to 11:59PM on December 20, 2024.
- Important: Funding is limited, and we strongly encourage you to submit your completed application as far in advance of the deadline as possible to increase the likelihood that your project can be funded.
- Projects must be completed, and the Rebate Worksheet is submitted by December 20, 2024. Rebate Worksheets and supplementary documentation will not be accepted after this deadline.
Eligible Applicants
- Agricultural Crown Land forage lease holders
- Association of Manitoba Community Pastures
- Indigenous primary producers and communities, including First Nations and Métis
- Primary producers
Eligible Expenses
- Solar foxlights
- Electronets
- Fladry and turbo fladry flags
- Livestock guardian dogs

Project Timeline
Rebate Worksheets will be received on a first come, first served basis from April 15, 2024, to 11:59PM on December 20, 2024.
Cost Share Funding
Eligible applicants can be reimbursed up to 75 per cent of total pre-approved eligible expenses, to a maximum of $5,000 for all eligible expenses. The total amount eligible will vary by project and will be based on the following limits:
- Solar foxlights capped at $1,000
- Electronets capped at $3,500
- Fladry and turbo fladry flags capped at $3,500
- Livestock guardian dogs capped at $3,500
