Branch Information
Transportation Systems Planning and Development Branch (TSPD) assesses, plans, protects and enhances Manitoba’s multi-modal transportation system. The branch advances Manitoba’s transportation priorities and develops policies that promote social and economic prosperity.
TSPD’s multi-disciplinary team focuses on long-term and/or complex transportation challenges and opportunities. Project planning horizons are typically in the range of 10 to 50 years. The Branch’s research and analytical work is used to advise the Manitoba government on transportation investment priorities, policy and system development strategy.
