Child and Family Services Contacts

In Manitoba, The Child and Family Services Authorities Act establishes four Child and Family Services (CFS) Authorities that are responsible for administering and ensuring child and family services are provided in Manitoba. Each authority mandates CFS agencies to provide direct services to children and families on their behalf.

Manitoba’s designated intake agencies provide 24-hour, seven-days a week intake response to concerns about the safety of children. A Designated Intake Agency (DIA) is an agency that has been delegated by the CFS Authorities to provide joint intake and emergency services, in accordance with section 21 of The Child and Family Services Act, to all persons in a specified geographic region of the province.

You can view this Designated Intake Agencies Map to find the office nearest you.
