Consultation Documents
The new act will deal with a wide range of issues. The consultation documents present ideas on how to address some of the most critical issues: oversight of policing and investigation of incidents involving police officers. Questions are put forward in each document to help obtain the views of Manitobans. The deadline for submitting comments was March 13, 2009. The feedback that was received will help shape the new law that will be introduced in the Legislature this spring.
