Applicant Requirements

1. Proof of grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
2. Proof of a Manitoba class 5 driver’s license;
3. Minimum age of 18 years old;
4. Has obtained a high school diploma or completed equivalent academic training;
5. Be of sound mind and good character;
6. No criminal record and the completion of a Vulnerable Sector check and be free from criminal involvement in the three (3) preceding years (e.g. theft, illegal drugs);
7. No outstanding criminal charges and not subject of a criminal investigation;
8. Successful completion of a provincial Safety Officer Training course approved by the ADM.
